How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Form for 2022/2023 Application
FUTO Post UTME General Eligibility
- All applicants who wrote the last UTME must have scored a minimum of 160 in their JAMB Examination.
- Also all Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree and A’ Level in relevant discipline and subjects.
- Also all Applicant who choose FUTO as First Choice but scored a minimum of 160 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website for a change of Institution.
- Applicant must possess a Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE and NAPTEB.
- Selection will be based on the candidte’s average scores from the UTME and post-utme screening tests

All eligible candidates are all required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only

Application for FUTO post UTME screening exercise commences on Monday, October 17, 2022, and closes on Monday, October 31, 2022
How to Apply for FUTO Post UTME Form for 2022/2023 Application
- All Visit eligible applicant should first of all visit the FUTO Official website@futo.edu.ng
- Afterwards, proceed to click on “Prospective students”.
- The next thing is to Click on the link “2021/2022 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Application”.
- Go ahead to enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- Then proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
- You can now return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
- Then proceed with the completion of the form.
- Afterwards, enter your O’Level results.
- Ensure you confirm your entries.
- Then proceed to submit your application.
Note: All applicant should Print out their acknowledgement slip and await communication and information from the University management.
NOTE:
You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further communications.
Important Information as Regards FUTO Post UTME Screening Test Date
You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB PORTAL on/before Monday, October 31, 2022.
Those who fail to register within the period WILL NOT be qualified for the Exercise.
Any candidate who fails to submit his application online successfully will automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.
FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to 1-4 above;
Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Owerri on/before Monday, October 31, 2022.
Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript will not be considered for Admission.

About Federal University of Technology Oweri
The Federal University of Owerri is the Oldest University of Technology in Nigeria and was established in 1980 by Executive fiat with the composition and appointment of the first provisional Council by Nigeria’s First Executive President, Shehu Shagari. It became the first of three such Universities set up by the Federal Government of Nigeria who sought to establish a University of Technology in each geo-political region and particularly in a State which did not have a conventional University.
