EBSU POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Entry Requirements

Masters Degree

Candidates for master’s degree programmes are required to be:

• Candidates who have obtained the appropriate degree with at least a good second-class honours or its equivalent.
• Holders of Ebonyi State University Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) or from other recognized Institutions and who scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00 on the 5 point grade scale.
• They must also have the minimum requirement for undergraduate studies in the chosen discipline.

DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PHD)

Candidates who have obtained the degree of masters in the proposed discipline such candidates should possess a CGPA of not less than 3.50 on 5-point grade scale or 3.00 on a 4-point grade scale. They must also have the minimum requirement for undergraduate studies in the chosen discipline.

POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)

a) Graduates from approved Universities who hold first degree qualification acceptable to Senate, and who want to study courses other than those in which they obtained their first degree,
b) Graduates who hold a third class degree
c) HND (Credit) in relevant discipline
d) Holders of professional qualifications such as FLMLT, FNLT, AIB, ACCAACMA, ICANACCS and ACIS.

Application Payment Fees

• Application forms are available for sale online at the cost of Ten thousand Fifty Naira (N10,050.00) only, appropriate administrative charges will apply.

STEP2:
AFTER PAYMENT AT THE BANK, CLICK HERE TO START REGISTRATION

STEP3:
RESUME AN ONGOING APPLICATION/ UPDATE YOUR REGISTRATION FORM.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. All interested applicant should visit the University portal. For Technical Support, Contact us through our Website: @ https://portal.ebsu.edu.ng
2. Click on online application form –
3. Click on Postgraduate application form
4. Enter your mobile phone number and click on proceed
5. Enter the required information and click on Submit to generate invoice
6. Proceed to bank with the payment invoice and make payment through Remitta
7. Obtain bank print out from the bank containing RRR number
   Return to portal to complete your online application form
8. Submit your acknowledgment slip, credentials and referee forms to admission Unit of School of Postgraduate Studies.
