FUTA Admission List 2023/2024 Undergraduate Degree Status

This is to inform the general public that the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Admission List is now out for all that wrote FUTA Post UTME Form. The procedure to also check your FUTA Admission List on JAMB Admission Status is also listed in this update.

How to Check FUTA Admission List

Currently, the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) prospective students can only access their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the procedure outlined below:

STEP 1: To access your Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) admission status, go to the JAMB portal at https//portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.

STEP 2: Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.

STEP 3: Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

STEP 4: Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.

STEP 5: Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your FUTA admission status.

How to check JAMB Admission Status

1. Candidates successfully admitted into the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) first-degree programmes are advised to:
   Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT their admission.
2. Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
3. Print their original JAMB result slip (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
4. Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal in case they are offered courses different from the ones they initially applied for.

NOTE: This post will be updated immediately the list is available on the university website.
You will be able to follow the procedure outlined below once the list is uploaded on the university website.

How to Check FUTA Admission List

1. Go to FUTA admission status checking portal at http://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions.
2. Supply your UTME/DE registration number in the required column.
3. Finally, click on Submit to access your FUTA admission status

How to Pay FUTA Acceptance Fee and Payment Procedure.

• GENERATE REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE
• To generate REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE visit www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions and
• check in with your jamb reg no, then scroll down to click on generate now
  Proceed to any of the below banks:

Amount : #45,300(bank charges inclusive)
Depositors name: Your name as written on your jamb slip
and others specified*

At the top of the teller please write the RRR code you Generate from your admission Status & your Jamb registration number
After a successful payment then proceed to the school portal www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions to confirm payment
Login & Click on confirm acceptance Fee and input your RRR code as appropriate in the space provided.
After a successful confirmation you can now proceed to print your Admission letter

FUTA Screening Registration Procedure/Clearance/Guildlines

Step 1 [Admission Letter]
Visit https://www futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions (or alternatively visit https://www.futa.edu.ng and click on “2022/2023 Admission Status” under featured Links on Futa Site).
Supply your UTME Registration Number and ensure you view and print your admission letter. Please note that if you do not view/print the admission letter, you will not be able to login in Step 2.

Step 2 [Login to your Profile]
Visit https://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome (OR alternatively visit https://www.futa.edu.ng and click on “Undergraduate Portal” under featured Links on Futa Site).
Login with your UTME Registration Number as Username and your SURNAME (in CAPITAL OR UPPERCASE) as Password
You will be required to supply your valid Email Address and Phone Number and change your password before you can proceed
In case you forgot your password, click on the forgot password link “Get it Here” and supply your JAMB Registration, your Registered Email address and Phone Number and your new password and click on send to reset your password and send to your registered Phone Number and Email Address

Step 3 [Complete your Bio-data Forms]

• After successful login to your profile, click on “Student Bio-data”
  It is compulsory that you fill all the sections accordingly, Under the
• Upload section, you will be required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents:
  Passport(not more than 1 month old), Birth Certificate, Certificate of Local Government of Origin, Court Affidavit (this is optional),
• Attestation Letter, Jamb Admission Letter, O level Result(s),
• NCE/ND/HND if Direct Entry
  Click on “Finalise and Preview Biodata Registration” under the Finalise Section
• After Clicking on Finalized, your Olevel Result that you supplied will be screened and if you passed, you will be instructed to generate school fees invoice and go to any of the bank listed on your invoice and and pay your School Fee on REMITA
• Platform only, otherwise visit the Admission Office (FUTA) for further assistance.

Please Note: You will not be able to generate school fees invoice and make payment at at the bank if you fail to complete these sections approximately and pass the online screening
After clicking on Finalize, you will be allowed to generate school fee invoice and make payment at the bank

Step 4 [Make Payment]

• Click on Payment
  Your Payment due will be available as Debit under Student Ledger
  To make any payment, you have to select the payment, generate invoice from which your RRR Number and ORDER ID will be made available
• Present the RR Number on the Invoice at any of the Banks listed on your invoice and make the payment on REMITA PLATFORM ONLY
• You have to confirm your payment under the Confirm Payment Section and Print your Official Receipt and the Clearance Form and present them when you resume officially
