This to inform all students both Fresher and Returning Students that the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Academic Calendar 2023/2024 Session is now updated below.

All students are instructed to resume at the stipulated time in LAUTECH Academic Calendar 2023/2024 Session inorder to meet up with the academic session.

LAUTECH Academic Calendar 2023/2024 Session

The calendar, presented by the Committee of Provosts and Deans, maps out the academic journey from May 2023 to October 2023. It highlights key dates, deadlines, and activities that will guide academic and non-academic undertakings during this period.
Commencement of the Academic Session
The 2021/2022 Rain Semester examinations will conclude on Wednesday, May 17, with the academic session ending the next day. Fresh students for the 2022/2023 Harmattan Semester will resume on Tuesday, May 30, marking the beginning of the registration period without penalty.
Resumption and Registration of Stalites
Stalites, the returning students, will resume their academic activities on Monday, June 5, commencing their registration without penalty. Lectures for both freshers and stalites will begin on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Orientation and Matriculation for Freshers

Orientation for new students will be held on Monday, July 24, providing a warm welcome and important information about the university. The matriculation ceremony is set for Wednesday, August 2, a key milestone marking the official induction of new students into the university.

Registration Deadlines and Penalties

The registration period without penalty for freshers will end on Sunday, July 30, followed by the start of registration with penalty. Stalites will have until Sunday, August 6, to complete their registration without penalty. Registration with penalty for both freshers and stalites will conclude on August 20 and August 27, respectively.

Mid-Semester Assessments and Examinations

The mid-semester continuous assessment (CA) test by CBT will commence on Monday, August 7 and conclude on Friday, August 11. Lectures will end for the semester on Friday, September 1, followed by a lecture-free week. The 2022/2023 Harmattan Semester examinations will begin on Monday, September 11 and conclude on Saturday, September 30.

Semester Break and Start of Rain Semester

The Harmattan semester will officially end on Monday, October 2, and the semester break will commence for students. The break will end on Sunday, October 8, with the 2022/2023 Rain Semester beginning on Monday, October 9.
