UCTH School of Nursing Admission Requirements & Duration of Training

Admission Requirements:

Intending candidates must have five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, not more than 2 sittings from SSCE or NECO.
Candidates aged between 17-35 years by November 2023 are eligible to apply.

Duration of Training

The Basic Nursing Training program will run for three (3) years.

How to Apply for UCTH School of Nursing Admission Form

Interested candidates can obtain application forms from the Office of the Principal, School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Moore Road, Calabar. Application forms will be available from Wednesday, March 8th to Friday, May 5th 2023 (Subject to availability).
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N17,000 into the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital Collection Account at EKONDO Microfinance Bank, along Muritala Mohammed Highway, Account No. 1100757926.
Candidates should exchange the teller for an official receipt at the UCTH Treasury, Permanent site, and present the official receipt to the Principal, School of Nursing, UCTH, along Moore Road, for collection of the Application form.

Completed Application Forms with photocopies of relevant documents are to reach the Office of the Principal not later than Monday 15th May, 2023.

Selection Examination

The entrance examination will hold on Saturday 19th May, 2023, at Venue: School of Nursing Premises, Moore Road, and UCTH Permanent Site, Calabar, by 8:00am prompt.

Oral Interview Date

Oralinterview for successful candidates will hold in UCTH Permanent Site on a date that will be communicated to candidates that pass the written examination only.
