BUK Part-time Degree Admission Form 2023/2024 Academic Session -

BUK Part-time Degree Admission Form portal is opened for online application for Prospective undergraduate degree Programmme. It’s important that candidates get to note the requirements and qualifications to apply online using the platform.

How to Apply for BUK Part-time Degree Admission Form

BUK Part-time Degree Admission Form Requirement

Applicants for admission into the programmes must satisfy the following conditions:

UTME ADMISSION

A) minimum of five ‘O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects including English at not more than two sittings.

b) A minimum of 180 points at 2019/2020 UTME. Note that only applicants who choose Bayero University, Kano as their first choice are eligible to apply.

c) In addition, applicants for admission into B. Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Business Administration, B.Sc. Mathematics, B. Sc. (Ed) Mathematics, B. Sc. Health Education and B. Sc. (Ed) Economics must also have credits in ‘O’ Level Mathematics.

d) Holders of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificates (NBAIS) can only apply for B. A. Arabic and B. A. Islamic Studies.

DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION

Applicants for Admission into the programmes must satisfy the following conditions:

Possess a recognized Advanced Level qualification in the area relevant to the programme of choice. Such qualification(s) include(s) National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) – (with a minimum of 6 points), Nursing Certificate, Diploma in Health Education, Diploma in Community Health, Diploma in Environmental Health, General Certificate of Education (GCE), ‘A’ Level and any other relevant qualification(s).
Possess a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects, including English.
Must be at least 25 years old and above.
In addition, applicants for admission into B. Sc. Accounting, B.Sc. Business Administration, B.Sc. Mathematics, B. Sc. (Ed) Mathematics and B. Sc. (Ed) Economics must also have credits in ‘O’ Level Mathematics.
While candidates for B. Nursing Science and B. Sc. Health Education must have credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Holders of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies Certificates (NBAIS) can only apply for B. A. Arabic and B. A. Islamic Studies.
Candidates applying for B. Sc. Public Administration should possess a credit in Government/History in addition.

How to Apply for BUK Part-time Degree Admission Form

Applicants are strongly advised to adhere to the following payment procedure guidelines, as any deviation may result in delay or outright invalidation of your application.

Step 1. Make sure you have successfully created an account and finished all the procedure/step leading to where you generated your BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF) (click here for the Application Procedure). As in the picture below:

Step 2. With the information on your BUKPPF invoice, note the RRR and amount generated on your invoice and proceed with the either of the first two instructions stated above the RRR generated as in picture below:

Step 3. Click Payment Processing tab to either pay with remita by clicking “Pay with Remita” button. This will take you to remita site for payment.

Step 4. After payment, the site will process your payment automatically. In case of any delay in processing of your application fee, click “Check Payment Status” Under Payment Processing tab. The site will process your payment instantly.

Application Deadline

Payment of the Processing Fee opens at Banks from Tuesday, 10th January 2023 and closes Thursday, 28th February 2023.
