How to Apply for Charity KPABEP Scholarship Programme 2024/2025
Award: Up to $4,000, paid in tranches contingent on training and internship completion in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC).
Training Opportunity: Potential training in RAC.
Internship: A 1 to 3-month internship with a RAC-focused company.
SWE Membership: Free collegiate membership with the Society of Women Engineers.
Mentorship: Access to mentors in the engineering field.
General Eligibility
Gender: Must identify as a woman.
Nationality: Nigerian citizenship is required.
Age Limit: Must be below 40 years at the time of application.
Educational Status: Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited Nigerian university, polytechnic, or post-secondary institution.
Field of Study: Must be in an Engineering sciences and Technology program or related fields.
Stage of Study: Within the final two years of study.
Academic Record: Good academic standing, no minimum GPA requirement.
Extracurricular Engagement: Demonstrated leadership and activity involvement.
Commitment: Must attend all scholarship events, workshops, training, and complete an internship.

About Charity KPABEP Scholarship
This scholarship is part of Nigeria’s Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) Phase-out Management Plan (HPMP) Stage III Project.
The project aims to reduce HCFC-22, a significant ozone-depleting substance, by introducing low Ozone Depleting Potential and Global Warming Potential technologies. The target is to achieve a 67.5% reduction in HCFC baseline consumption by 2025.
